A Day in the Navy is prepared to help paint a picture of Navy daily operations. One day each month is chosen for which to provide more specific detail. The present tense is used to set the scene in the right tone.
Although it is not possible to mention every ongoing activity, representative operations have been selected from submissions across the Navy.
